File Folder Games: Tropical Flowers

Because I live on this beautiful tropical Island I thought I would share with you recent activities I prepared for Eaton.
I created 3 file folder games: Tropical Hawaiian Flowers
Also, I am in the middle of preparing Encyclopedic Knowledge for each of these flowers. I will post it when it will be ready.
If you are interested in these games, please write me an email with a request and I will send all 3 games and a poster I created. My Google docs account doesn't support ppt's that's why I don't post it on the blog.

Have a great day!

New follower! and I love all the activities you are doing with your son. I would love to have these flower games, if it's possible. We are traveling to Hawaii this summer, so it will be great for my daughter to know these beautiful flowers. She's 29 months and love to learn just like your son!
My email is msidor79@yahoo(dot)com
I'll be looking forward to all your activities. Thanks for sharing!

Great printables as always. I would love to work with them. It would be a fine exotic element to our volcanic theme I am going to do with Kuba. He is crazy about islands. We already covered Cuba and Jamaica, Bermuda and Hawaii are next on our list. One more thing. You mentioned that you were preparing some inteligence programs for thoes flowers bits. I am curious in what way you are going to present them to Eaton. I made my first intelligence program for the paintings of Van Gogh and prepared them in a book format I just read it to Antek. Ewa,
The format of these EK will be half of A4. I can send it to you and you can convert it very easy into a book. I usually use very good quality pictures so you can maximize them and use bigger font. It's a good idea, and maybe I will consider doing that too as Eaton loves flowers and he needs more books!
Thanks a lot!

Hi Martha.

Thanks so much for sharing this activity...It was a hit in our Hawaii theme unit...I just decreased the size of the flowers so my daughter could use her magnifying gass for the first time and match them to the big ones. She loved it!!! Here's my post about it: http://pinkyslearningworld.blogspot.com/2011/06/montessori-monday-hawaii-part-3.html
Thanks a lot!
