Cutting activity

Hm.. Blogger decided to put that picture in a vertical position.

Cutting activity has been on our shelf for the last month. For cutting we use some scrap paper-left over from other activities and straws.  Eaton works on using two hands at the same time. It's not easy to hold a straw with one hand and operate scissors with the other hand. Progress is visibly every day though.

Have a great day!

Eaton is doing a great job!!! I remember when Kuba used to cut straws for hours ;-) Can't wait to try it with Antek ( we wanted to try but the scissors we have though kids size are still to big for Antek's hand) Love.

Great blog! How old is your son? I'm introducing my daughter to some very basic Montessori works at 19 months, but I don't want to push it too fast.

Ewa,
I guess it's a good activity to start at about 24 months. Antek still has some time :)

fjkelly,
Thank you, my son is 27 months now. You don't have to worry about pushing your baby if she enjoys activities you do with her. Good luck!
