Family In Space-Math Game (free downloads)

I decided to send some family members to Space!!!
OO why not ;-)
Not so long ago we started to read books about astronomy: space, stars, comets, rackets, boosters and stuff like that.. I will post about our space adventure in future post. For now, I just want to show you simple addition/subtraction game. I found this poster of the racket and I wanted to use it somehow, and because NASA website led me to some other where I found robotic arm and the astronaut working in a space I thought why not to combine both of them. Although robotic arm is not attached to a rocket but to a space shuttle Eaton didn't mind that at all and we had great time using that activity. He loved that because we sent some of our friends and family to space. We were adding, subtracting, working hard on a robotic arm etc.. fun game for little boys. I glued some pictures of a family and friends to small rackets (you can download below). Then I created some equations on a piece of paper and numbers for Eaton to work with.

 Simple but so exciting game!

Download pages:
Rockets from NASA
Robotic Arm from Lapbook Lessons

or you can use NASA's activity idea.
Enjoy!
