Language Art-Comprehension-Update

I mentioned in my previous post about "Flash Forward-Reading" book I purchased to work with Eaton. I mentioned that we use that book daily during our worksheet time. I just want to show 2 videos where we work on beginning stories from that book.

Have a great day everyone!

Dear Martha, I am Elyse from Malaysia. Just want to say a big thank you for all your sharing in this wonderful blog. You are such a creative and dedicated mum that often inspired me and gave me some new ideas to do something fun and educational with my little one (Isaac - 2 years old).

Eaton is such a brilliant child and he almost picked up all the answers correctly after just one-time reading.

Elyse, Thank you for your post. I try my best with my boys:)
In this age sometimes it's hard to know the reason why Eaton didn't answer the question correctly. I think in many cases this is day dreaming. He does that a lot. I read that we should allow kids to do that. In "A parent's guide to gifted children" book author recommends to allow a child to be in that stage and not "wake a kid up" :) But of course the simple reason can be lack of attention because the story is boring, or Eaton simply doesn't want to do that activity. But it's all good..We learn something every day :) Aloha for comment
