Easter Science-Primary and Secondary Colors

I think I mentioned before that Eaton is not interested so much in art like other subjects example:science. But Easter was all about colorful chocolaty eggs and I thought why not to combine a little bit of art and science together to make it more appealing to Eaton.

The art idea originally comes from Rob's website ART FOR KIDS! Rob's started his website not so long ago and I started to follow his ideas pretty regularly. It seems that whatever Rob's posts on his blog it is at a perfect moment for me and my Eaton. Please, check it out, maybe you will find something interesting for your homeschooling needs.

When Eaton heard about painting eggs he started to postpone that activity to the end of the day. But we all love eggs in our family and Eaton got convinced just to try :)

The idea was to create secondary colors:orange, purple, green from 3 primary ones:red, yellow and blue.
We added 4 eggs and fun had began.

We all participated in making an egg art:)

"Pączuś" like always was a good observer.

 And.. Final effect..

Purple color came out a little muddy, but it's all about having fun! Is in it?!;-)

Marta! I'm very flattered, and excited you tried this with Eaton (haha, even though he wasn't up for it completely). Glad you guys made it a family event too...and had fun :)

Best Regards,
