Kizclub website has 2 nice activities I put into file folder games.
"Who am I"
So, at 39 months we are done with Kizclub activities. I wish they would have more advanced games we could use.
Tracing Activity: Eaton starts to pay attention to details. He tries to trace exactly on lines. If he goes beyond one he goes back and corrects himself.
Art: using glue. Eaton is not so much into art, but glue is somehow interesting for him and he creates all kinds of centipedes (do not mistaken it with caterpillar;-) from pom poms.
or he uses some color squares (these are car tracks!)
Using screwdriver: putting wooden garbage truck together
Math: Now, we work with teens. Again, we mix blocks and beads in our activity. It seems Eaton enjoys that type of lesson.
Spelling: This is very cool activity Eaton is crazy about. I give him 4 letters and he creates a word. The fun part for him is to read not-a-word he creates. Eaton is very good at playing with words so this activity is all about laugh and having lots of fun. So far no problem with 4 letter words. I will try to use 5 letters this week.
Recognizing senses. I believe this game is from File Folder website.
Word/Not a Word file folder game
Reading Eaton's favorite book "What do people do all day?" with his favorite banana/strawberry smoothie.
Hammering activity: building garage for his car
Cardboard garage I created. This was the best version I could came up with when Nathaniel had a fewer and he cried all the time. He stopped once garage was done :-)
Until next time..
